Paphiopedilum Hanoi Fairy

One flat flower on a 90mm inflorescence; dorsal sepal white and lime on the back portion, overlaid dilute purple on the upper portion growing to saturated purple basally with vivid purple striping, purple hairs on the outer edges. Petals white overlaid dilute purple with white tips, overlaid purple striping. Pouch saturated purple on upper part fading to dilute purple basally. Substance good, texture shimmering.

A first flowering seedling displaying one flower standing clear of the foliage. Dorsal sepal and petals are darkish red purple with rose lilac stripes and apple green between stripes at the bases. A darker deep reddish purple stripe runs down the centre of dorsal sepal and petals. There are fine ciliate around the whitish edges of dorsal sepal and petals and slight ruffling on upper edges of petals. The pouch is maroon with apple green around lip edges and rose lilac stripes with light apple green between stripes at the base of the pouch. The staminode edging is bright apple green. There is maroon spotting in the pouch throat.
