All over base colour yellow 7D. Reverse of dorsal striped longitudinally with grey purple 187B. This species, unusual in cultivation, receives worthy recognition through this award to a plant from the group of 'botanical" orchids, often overlooked . The awarded plant carried 589 flowers on 41 racemes and was particularly well presented. Size and floriferousness were greater than the described type forms.
